Children
Fannie and Robert Jameson had at least 7 children. First, the evidence:
Thomas E. W. Jameson, age 34, born 31 Oct 1881 in Tennessee, married, son of Scott Jameson and Frances Elder, died 30 Apr 1916 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee [Ref 2]. This probably is the William Jameson who appeared in Chattanooga in the 1900 and 1910 Censuses (I've been unable to find a Thomas Jameson there). Furthermore, William Jameson in 1910 had wife Maggie and son Woods; in 1920 Woods Jameson (step-son) lived with Zack H. Taylor and wife Margaret [Microfilm series T625, Roll 1742, Page 6B].
Robert C. Jameson, age 46, born 1883 in Tennessee, single, son of Scott Jameson and Powell (sic), died 10 Apr 1929 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee, burial at Forest Hill [Ref 2]. Robert Jameson lived with his brother-in-law Powell in 1920 (see below).
Henry Scott Jameson, age 54, born 22 Oct 1893 in Christina (sic), Tennessee, wife Sadie Jameson, son of Robert Scott Jameson and Fannie Elder, died 26 Aug 1948 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, Tennessee [Ref 2]. (The birth location was probably Christiana in Rutherford County, the family residence in 1880.)
At the 1900 Census Maggie Jameson (orphan, born Jun 1889) and Scott Jameson (orphan, born Nov 1893) boarded with Samuel Daniel in Rutherford County, Tennessee [Microfilm series T623, Roll 1594, page 3A]. In addition, William Jameson (age 19) and Robert Jameson (age 17) were lodgers with Gustavus H. Miller and wife Tennessee Miller in Chattanooga, Tennessee [Microfilm series T623, Roll 1574, page 3B]. Nancy Tennessee Jameson Miller, age 86, born 30 Jan 1858, widowed, daughter of Thomas H. Jameson and Catherine Donnelly, died 15 Jul 1944 in Chattanooga [Ref 2]; i.e. William and Robert were living with their aunt and her family in 1900.
At the 1910 Census William Jameson (age 29) was head of a household in Chattanooga, and living with him were his brother Robert Jameson (age 27), sister Maggie Jameson (age 20) and brother Scott Jameson (age 17) [Microfilm series T624, Roll 1502, page 5A].
At the 1920 Census Robert Jameson (age 37) lived with brother-in-law W. O. Powell and wife Elizabeth (age 35) in Chattanooga [Microfilm series T625, Roll 1742, page 7B]. Oscar Powell and Elizabeth Jameson married 02 Nov 1904 in Hamilton County, Tennessee [Ref 1].
Two children of R. S. and F. Jamison were buried in Christiana Cemetery, Christiana, Tennessee: Mary (16 Feb 1886 - 8 Oct 1891) and infant (25 Oct 1892) [Daniel, Cemeteries and Graveyards of Rutherford County, Tennessee, 2005, page 51].
